I think the
concept of mental workout is to progressively develop expanded consciousness
and its healing capabilities. The benefits of mental workout are related to reduced
stress, increased focus, better sleep and things like better perception. To
foster my psychological health I could implement meditation and prayer at the
start of my day, find the positive side of all situations, count my blessings,
avoid confusion and busyness, and have positive self-talk. These are just a few
things that I do and suggest to others.
I would agree that mental workouts are used to expand your consciousness and heal your psychological wellness. Meditation at the start of my day is one of the best things that I found to help prepare me for the day. I think it allows me to have better control over stressful situations throughout the day and really allows positive things to come my way!

ReplyDeleteI almost forgot about the flute and ocean sounds, thanks for mentioning that. I really found the video to be relaxing as well and believe the flute and ocean sounds helped out a lot to help me focus more on the meditation. I see to struggle with that, but also the lady's voice helped keep me focused because she was very calm.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your post. I truly think this mental exercise thing is very helpful to the soul. I feel if you exercise your mind daily you will find the things that seemed relevant to you will become irrelevant because your mind set has now changed.
